Getting frustrated easily over little things. But whatever! I'll live I guess. So it's March... lot's of b-days. Tiff's 19th was yesterday. We're going 2 Red Lobster tomorrow & out & stuff. I love Tiff soooo much. She's just awesome. She's made one of the biggest efforts out of everyone 2 keep in touch w\me ever since 8th grade. We always have the best talks & the best times together. We went 2 the gym together a few times this week & tomorrow will be fun. Today is Kristen G's 19th. Happy Birthday Kristen!! :o) She's going 2 Canada tonight 2 the Casino & out 2 drink there tomorrow. Fun times 4 her. :oP There was this show on the other night called "Stars W\out Makeup." Yea, some of the stars r definitely ugly. Lol. Honestly. Maybe that's mean but wow. Haha. They definitely make them up a lot. Like real fake. I've been lazy this week not wearing any makeup. Haha. It's all good though, I work out so much that it's not worth sweating it off. I've been working on my arms lately, whoo! I'm gonna have muscles. :o) Haha. I don't want like huge arms, but I want em more toned. Kristen's been @ the gym like everyday I've been there. & I see her in school. She's real kewl. Flute trio is going good. :o) Very good, actually. We're playing a Devienne piece 4 Collegium next week... Marlene coached us last week & said we're very in tune & it sounds really good & stuff, I'm glad cuz we r playing the Variations where we each have solo parts. I am going 2 Kristen's (H) recital Sunday w\my mom. She'll be awesome... her 21st b-day was last week. :o) I have 2 bring her her gift tomorrow I keep forgetting it. I can't wait 2 give Tiff hers!! It rocks. :oP My Katie's @ NYSBDA this weekend. I miss her, haven't seen her in a few weeks, but we r gonna get together soon. I'm so proud of her w\her flute stuff & I wish her the best of luck @ her Fredonia audition. I'm sure she'll rock. So I'm very confused these days. Aren't we all... lol. I can't wait 2 see my Deester! Her spring break is earlier than mine so she'll be home next week. Wow, I miss her. Had a psych exam today... it went ok. My math professor didn't show up Friday so we had the exam Monday, & my english professor was sick Monday & Wednesday & I was sooo pissed. Everyone was. Cuz it's my first class & we could have all slept in. She better be there tomorrow!! I went 2 Subway last weekend 2 see Ash. I miss her & Sill. We gotta all do something soon. Saturday is Les Mis @ NW w\Jen & we r going 2 a dinner thing & then I'm going clubbin' w\Mel Mel. :o) Yay, definitely in the mood 2 get drunk this weekend. Lol. (3 Jazzers | Jazz Me Up) **Real depressed, welcome 2 Squad's life** (It's all 4 u Dee & Joey Mack!!) [23 Feb 2005|07:53pm] [ mood | tired ] [ music | Nothing... ] Hmm... so what's new in my life. I'm feelin' like shit lately these last few days. Part of that could be the women problems approaching, but I'm also tired & stressed & feelin' shitty. I am pretty much depressed all the time but I know how 2 have fun & try 2 hide it. But whatever... I hope things will get better. I'm having a hard time focusing & staying awake in my classes, too. I don't fall asleep but I feel like I'm gonna & I think it may be part of being depressed. I eat pretty good, workout, sleep basically a good amount, I'm busy a lot but I mean I should be able 2 stay more focused & I can't. Caffeine doesn't really have an effect on me.. so that wouldn't help. I just wanna be completely happy... what a dream, eh. I got 31 hours this week. :o) Cuz I had no school Monday & Tuesday so I worked, & then this weekend. I need the extra $ & w\my raise it'll be a nice check. I wish I could manage that many hours every week. But I work a decent amount 4 being in college. I had a really fun weekend. Saturday night was awesome. Ash (Jankowski) & I went 2 Hooter's 4 dinner, (haha, the girls were so annoying.) But it's too funny cuz they like open ur dipping sauce 4 u & it's just funny they totally take care of u. I don't remember them doing that when we went this summer. But... we ate, had a good chat... came 2 my house... looked @ pics, had a few Mike's lime, & I did a shot of vodka, haha, Ash called me a champ. I was talking 2 Jimmy on the phone & downed that jazz. Lol. I was feeling it a little when I left the house, we had mad fun on the way 2 Mike's house. I didn't go inside but holy damn his house looks nice! So, Mike drove & we went 2 pick up his friends then we went 2 Rum Runner's. That was only my second time being there & I had a lot of fun. Mike paid 4 us 2 get in!! I was like ahh, what a gentleman but please don't! Lol. Ash yea, but not me! Lol. He paid 4 all the girls that were w\us. Me, Ash, & his friend Amanda. Omg, Ash introduced me 2 whiskey sours which r amazzzzing. I was sooo drunk & it was fun being half trashed when I got there. Haha. I was like throwing $ @ people letting everyone buy drinks. Haha. But I bought Ash a drink & barely spent any $ cuz Mike kept buying us drinks. & I was flinging my hair in Ash's lip gloss & I was being obnoxious. Omg. Hahaha. Ash was getting mad but we had mad fun. & I was sticking my ass out hahahaha. Wow. & this random cute guy came up 2 me & started dancing & I was excited. Then Chris got there w\Melissa & Marie & Ash got mad @ me cuz... well, nevermind. :oP Lol. But Ash, u don't understand!! Haha. & I saw mad people there I knew. & we had 2 pee alll night & ran in Tim Horton's. & I had sooo much gold glitter on my chest Ash said it looked like sweat. But it was 4 a good cause. :o)))) Hahahaha. Can we say boys get jealous? Yes, we can! :o) Lol. Then we went 2 Colosso & Mike wouldn't let us drive home, haha, so he drove me & Ash had 2 go 2 work @ like 6. Like 2 hours after. Haha. Some boys were watching me & Ash dance. Ash grabbed my boobs! Haha. It was the glitter. Hahaha. Kristen looked @ Chris & was like "look @ Tara dance w\that girl!" It was good times. We need 2 do that more often. I love Ash. She's a trip. I got my belly button pierced yesterday! :o) @ American Skinart. :o) Holly came. I was madddd nervous! It hurt!!! But only 4 a second, like it pinched but the needle hurt. But it's fine & I clean it like I'm supposed & it feels a little odd when I bend down but I got a lil green ball on it. It's cute. Omg, the girl was like "can u sit up a little, most people don't, but u have no stomach fat!! Wow!" I was like "wow, u made my day, even if u hurt me, u made my day." Haha. It's really cute though, & I'm glad I got it done. I can't wait 2 get a dangly charm, & it's gonna be cute in Florida. :o))) I ordered some cute tanks from Forever & a t-shirt from Hollister that says "no strings attached." It's dedicated 2 a friend. :o) & the tanks r so cute, one's longer & then one had flowers. I got a track jacket from Hollister too it's green w\a rainbow heart but it's on backorder so I won't get it 4 a while. Well, Tiff is about 2 call me & I am talking 2 Dee so I'm gonna go do math homework & lay down. School sux... it's a pain in the ass. I got a B on my first math exam though & a C on my Economic History but she's gonna curve it & said it was good cuz the class average was lower than that. I wish she would have 50 questions instead of 33. Whatever. (Jazz Me Up) **4 day weekend, I'm lovin' life!!** [19 Feb 2005|09:43am] [ mood | awake ] [ music | Nothing. ] Hello, my loves!! Well, I have a 4 day weekend & I'm excited. :o) & I'm off of work all weekend cuz I'm gonna work Monday & Tuesday next week & then I'll have 31 hours next week including when I work the weekend. :o) Yay, that's lot of $, especially w\my new raise, cuz I really need the $. So let's see... last Saturday Katie & I went 2 Jill's All-County jazz concert!! It rocked!! Wow, Jill was amazzzzzing!!! Her solo was kick ass! So was Christina's! They r so talented. The director was Bruce Johnstone, who did a master class in Fredonia when I was there. He was kewl. Laid back jazzer. Lol. Christina talked 2 me & hugged me. I loved her coat! Lol. Haven't seen her in a while. Jill Carere is one hell of a sax player. :o) She's a kewl chic, too. Katie & I tried 2 stay 4 Tyler's dress rehearsal cuz we couldn't stay 4 the concert but they made us leave.. :o( Tyler's kewl, I seriously don't remember him from All-County orchestra. I'm happy 4 Katie. She's happy, I'm happy. I love my baby, Katie. Hehe. I think I'm gonna get my belly button pierced Monday or Tuesday. Holly's gonna go w\me 2 NT & I think that Ash J is gonna go, too. I'm reallly nervous! & I hope it doesn't get infected. I've wanted it 4 a while though & I work out a lot & not 2 sound conceited but I deff. have the stomach 4 it... & I would like 2 have it 4 Florida. Piercing Pagoda has the cutest ringd 2 when I get it changed. I'm scared of the pain though. :o( But I think I'm gonna go through w\it!! I talked 2 Sarah Miller the other day! :o)))) Ahhhh, I miss my Sarah! She screamed when she picked up & knew it was the Squadster. Lol. She's having a blast there... I really miss her. She's wonderfukl. & she goes 2 school @ Disney University. How kewl. I love my Holly... I brought her an iced cap @ her work the other day. I'm so glad she's in band w\me & stuff. & english, but she never goes! Lol. She comes 2 see me like everyday @ work, too. I got a new phone. :o)))) I like it a lot. Mine died. :o( The battery was messed up, so my ma bought me a new one. :o) It's an LG. It's really nice. U can send graphics in texts & sounds... I just like it a lot. Not a picture phone though. But I don't think 4 the $ I'd use it that much, anyway. It came w\a hands free, a car charger, a thing 2 wear on ur belt... (& I've always wanted one, lol.) It's sweet. So Jen's grandpa died. :o((( I'm so sad 4 her. Mike & I went 2 the wake & it was sooo sad. I got close w\Jen since she started @ Tim Horton's & she's deff. doing better but I was glad 2 be there 4 her... it was so sad. My Valentine's Day was nothing horrible but nothing special either. I worked w\2 of my Valentine's... Mike & Ash. :o) & messed w\the other ones head. Haha. Ash. I love Ash J, I'm glad we're talking more & close again. There was a period where I didn't talk 2 her 4 like months just cuz of being busy & stuff. I heart her. My kitties back!!! :o) (So is my stepdad.) Lol. They were gone 4 a couple months in NC 4 business & my stepdad took her! Lol. She's attached 2 him cuz he rescued her. She's so little & soft & cute. I love her. I'm so glad she's back. Hehehe. I seriously am attached 2 this cat like whoa. Lol. My stepdad is back 4 a while which is kewl cuz he was out on business a lotttt, we never got 2 see him. So Lance's March 6th gig got postponed. But we r gonna perform the piece @ Collegium & such. Cuz Kristen's recital is on the day of his gig. I had my classical lesson the other day & it went really good. Katie was there b-4 me. :o) So I got 2 see her. I love Marlene, she's like "ur always so ready & prepared" etc. Lol. I have improved in my playing a lot since I started college. Just the development of my tone & stuff. & I got a new tuning cork cuz I think my old one broke. :o( But there's only about 5 flutes that r tune in band. The first 5 of us seem like the only ones that can play things correctly. Seriously. It pisses me off too cuz they're alllllways outta tune. & then it makes us sound outta tune!! Jen, Kristen, Me, the girl next 2 me, (forgot her name,) & then Jennie r the only ones that seem 2 be w\it. & the 2 of them play second & we need that or else everything would sound shitty cuz of the other ones. I don't know, it's just when he asked them 2 play alone the other day it was like eeeeek. Not good news. So I have been going 2 the gym w\Hannah a lot lately. I heart her. She's awesome. :o) She was gonna come see me @ work yesterday but she got called in. Ash A never came. Ash, Chris said he's "seriously mad at her 4 not coming." (1 Jazzer | Jazz Me Up) **La La, La La La La La Laaaaaa** [12 Feb 2005|11:39am] [ mood | energetic ] [ music | Jadakiss ] Hey friends. :o) I wish I could write in her more but life's crazy. I've been so busy since school started. It's good 2 keep busy, but I am so tired all the time w\work, school, homework, getting up early... all the flute stuff... sometimes u just wanna do nothing & u can't in college. Lol. Very rarely is there a day 2 do nothing. So Marlene's our flute trio coach this semester. :o) I'm really excited. I will miss Dr. Reinoso doing it but she is busy w\the clarinets & stuff. I think Dr. Fleming is gonna let us leave @ 1:00 sometimes from band so we can practuce w\her cuz we have gigs 2 get ready 4. He let me leave early 2 go 2 church on Ash Wednesday. I figured he wouldn't have a problem w\it though, a lot of people went. So I got asked 2 play @ Canisus College. :o))))) Me, Kristen, & then Evalina & Chris. (Chris & Evalina play clarinet, & Kristen plays flute.) It's young composers day in March & people r debuting their pieces & Lance is debuting a piece... he plays bass & he's a good composer... especially 4 his age. He could go far. So, he wrote a song called Waves & we're all playing it. It's hardddd cuz everyone does different stuff & it's just very slow. Kewl piece, though. He was really impressed w\my playing, I guess Kristen told me I have a very soloistic tone & he needs that & I'm really excited about doing this. I love all these playing opportunities. Lessons w\the best teachers & hard work does pay off! Speaking of which, I had a lesson w\Dave last year & he showed me all his pics from Italy & France when he went 2 play there & on vacation. It was awesome. I went out w\Ash last week, 2 Deb & Tim Horton's. :o) Chris was bothering her about a certain someone liking her. Lol. He was annoying her so bad but apologized last night. Lol. Haha. I got a pink halter w\different shades of pink & this cute longer pink skirt that flares out, it's really cute, & the cutest shiniest star earrings & necklace 2 go. I thought of Katie cuz of stars. :o) She loves stars. Hehe. Sill met up w\us but they couldn't find stuff 4 Winterfest & she didn't stay out w\us 4 long. I love them, we all have so much fun. :o) I cleaned my room like crazy last Saturday. Dusted, cleaned out some old stuff, it looks sp much better. Got rid of some of the clutter. I need 2 do that more often, but I probably won't! Lol. I went out w\Jamie & Hannah last Sunday & that was really fun. We went 2 Tully's, (finally, haha,) Starbuck's, & just drove around. Hannah & I went 2 the gym Tuesday too 4 like an hour. It was great. She comes 2 visit me @ work a lot now & Holly comes like everyday I work. I love it. Holly's awesome. :o) So it's Lent... no meat on Fridays. I fasted 4 pro-life yesterday 4 like 20 hours. U r supposed fast 4 @ least 4 so I fasted 5 times... I guess it's just a good thing 2 do during Lent. I think Dee is fasting 4 pro-life, too. Plus, I am trying 2 cut the shit foods out of my diet. Not totally, but @ least a little. I gained a couple lbs. :o( I know I'm far from fat, but I just like having a little stomach & I'm going 2 Florida & I just wanna be healthy, too. Working out helps a lot, I am just trying 2 eat less junk food. Sometimes I guess I am obsessive, I shouldn't be though. I just don't wanna gain a lot of weight. I saw Marc Scibilia's dad the other day cuz he comes 2 my moms work 4 meetings & stuff, & we talked 4 a while. Marc's in Nashville & I think he's gonna be writing 4 Warner Bros!! So kewl. They have 2 hire lot's of lawyers 2 negotiate contracts & stuff. But he said I should go visit Marc in Nashville & he'd love 2 meet up w\me. Haha. I should sometime. Maybe when he comes back we'll finally get 2 play together. His dad is so nice... Marc has so much talent. Well, I'm gonna go. (I don't have the guts 2 but I wanna.) I hated it first semester & I hate it more now cuz it's harder. I don't hate the people or anything, or Buff State, (except 4 parking,) but I just don't wanna be in college in general. My stepdad is thinking of opening up a business & said I could be part owner & I've always wanted 2 open a business & if that happens within a few years school can kiss my ass. But that's the thing... I don't wanna have my parents pay & quit half way into it. Whatever, I just don't like it, I really don't. Everyone's different & most people like it but I don't. The best years of your life r having loads of work 2 do? Nah, not in my world. Once I take courses that pertain more 2 my major instead of these damn gen ed I might like it more. Artie's home from Iraq. :o) I talked 2 him once so far, he said he's gonna be home 4 a while he hopes. Everytime I see something on the news about the war or whatever I think of him. (Cuz he's one of the few that I know that r over there.) Ashley Jankowski is back @ Timmy's!! :o)))) Whoo, I'm real excited. & I mentioned it 2 Leon & he wanted her back cuz she doesn't work @ her other job so I can take some credit 4 her coming back. :o) I miss her a lot, haven't seen her much lately. So I went shopping w\Ash & Sill last weekend, Valentine's Day shopping even though it's not gonna be fun 4 me this year cuz boys suck & because I'm not gonna see Mr. Wonderful so whatever. I'll get over it. Last Valentine's Day ended up being real kewl, so I'll just have 2 deal this year. But anyway, I got cute sweatpants & a t-shirt from Hollister... like a boy tee 4 summer & stuff. Mad cute. & Sill got a shirt from the Napoleon movie. Haha. & then I went 2 eat w\Ash @ night after Sill went 2 work & we did more shopping & got some little things. So I'm turning over a new leaf 4 this year... kinda livin' by the motto "life's too short." & I'm trying 2 just be a nice person all around... I mean, I think I am a very nice person anyway, but 2 people that I haven't talked 2 these days I am trying 2 keep in touch w\a little cuz I figure life's too short... & I'm trying 2 be civil 2 my "enemies" 4 lack of a better word & not be phoney about it, either. Sounds kinda dumb, but seriously, sometimes I figure what's the use of being a bitch, so I am just trying 2 be a mature adult. & being civil & stuff is the way 2 go & makes me feel better as a person. But there's people in my life I kinda lost touch w\& they were my friends 4-ever (one particular person I am talking about,) & she really never did anything wrong 2 me just kinda fell into a trap & is a very good person @ heart & I am really glad we r talking again & stuff. I don't know, it feels right & she's been good 2 me & stuff overall... she really understands things & did me a big favor too about something that happened. But in general, I'm not a bitch until people r 2 me. I'm a very nice person. So this should be ok. But there is a certain male adult who likes 2 try 2 ruin my life I may have 2 not use my little "life's too short" motto on him & actually MAKE his life too short. Just joking, but wow, he annoys me. (Jazz Me Up) **There's an upside down fish painted in my bio lecture hall...** [28 Jan 2005|08:55pm] [ mood | quixotic ] [ music | Nothing.. ] What's up peoples... well, I successfully completed my first week of my second semester in the wonderful world of college. WNY is a shitty place 2 go 2 school, lemme tell ya. Fucking 5 below 0 & even worse in some places like where Dee & Kim go 2 school. Crazy shit. My classes r hardddd this semester. :o( Lot's more work than last... & constant lectures which gets boring. :o( But I prefer bigger classes. Buff State is a medium size school so the classes aren't all huge but I have around 150-200 in a couple of my classes. I like that better. I don't like the real small classes. Dr. Reinoso came up 2 me the first day of classes 2 make sure I am still gonna take lessons outside of school. Lol. I'm really glad the music department thinks a lot of me, though. I'm happy I did so well on my jury. Me, Kristen, & Jen r starting our flute trio up next week. :o) I think we'reg onan rehearse on Tuesdays, & twice a week when we have gigs. No Courtney this semester cuz she's too busy getting ready 2 graduate & she has a lot 2 do. I'll miss her though. I have fun playing w\Jen & Kristen. We all have something 2 contribute 2 the group. There's fish painted in my biology lecture hall, & one is painted upside down & I can't stop looking @ it... it's just really funny. Lol. My books were more expensive this semester. Damn science books r a lot. & I thought music books were a lot... lol. I miss my Dee. :o( Even though we talk constantly... I really miss her. I miss Sarah... she left me a message yesterday on my voicemail & I think she was half gone. Lol. So Deanna left on Wednesday.... I went over there Tuesday night & went w\her 2 work 2 say bye 2 Michelle & we ordered pizza & watched American Idol & talked... & we both dreaded the goodbye but we went outside in the freezing cold & just started pouring our hearts out 2 each other & crying like whoa. So many songs make me think of her & so much stuff reminds me of her. We call each other & leave voicemails when we hear songs that remind of us each other & stuff. Haha. She said some pretty amazing things 2 me about how she's found a best friend in me & how I can make her happy no matter how said she is & this was the best month ever of her life cuz we saw each other everyday 4 over a month. & she just said how much she is gonna miss me & how I've changed her life & I said the same & wow... it was just emotional. & we were like "even though the boys laugh & say we can't live w\out each other maybe we can't." But it's been great being off & being w\friends & stuff. So the other day I shipped the Miyazawa (the love of my life, my flute, haha, but not really lately, because I haven't picked it up much,) 2 NYC 2 be cleaned & checked cuz that's where I bought it & stuff. I was mad nervous cuz I had 2 insure it 4 the $4,000 it's worth & I was just scared cuz I never shipped it even though it's safe w\UPS. I have 2 do that once a year. It's gonna look so shiny when I get it back. :oP Had a couple very important appointments the other day which went very well... things r going better. & I'm getting stronger. I have 2 give myself credit, I'm a really strong person. When difficult things happen in a persons life it makes that person stronger if they handle the situation properly. So Dee slept over the other night. & Ricco & Miller came over!! I gave Miller her goodbye gifts cuz she just got back from Cali but she is leaving 4 Florida soon. Omg, I'm gonna miss the girl soooo much! We took pics & I am gonna scan em soon & send em. But anyway, wow, what a fucking night. Hahaha. Me & Dee went 2 Applebee's, then we went through Timmy's drive-thru & messed w\everyone who was working. "That'll do her." Haha. Omg, it was funny. Then we came back here & called some people & started drinking like whoa. I usually don't drink too much & I don't think it's worth it 2 drink all that & get sick... but I have 2 say it was funny cuz me & Dee started singing & I was rolling around on the ground & I called Difranco & was laughing so hard & he was like "Squats, ur smashed!!" Then I was pissed cuz this bitch I didn't know answered the boys cell & I was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! & I wouldn't shut up & omg it was so funny. I was crazy. But then I got real sick & me & Dee stayed up till like 6:00 after Miller & Ricco left around 5:00 & we couldn't stop laughing & I woke up like dying & went 2 work Omg, but the Pepto Bismol helped. Lol. It was a fun night but wowwww, I got sick & it sucked. We're having another sleepover this week & drinking, (whooo, slushies & alcohol,) haha but I am not gonna get blasted. Lol. Sill got me a cute card (aww, it was sweet,) an aromatherapy candle set, lip gloss... other stuff... & I got her a wallet, a makeup bag, lip gloss... we all got cute stuff. Ash's new house is beautiful! I love it. She moved a couple months ago but this is the first time I saw it. I got her mom a big chocolate thing 4 X-mas... she was happy. But we came back & watched the ball & stuff. & I talked 2 my Dee while we counted down cuz she was in Florida. The holidays r flying by, but they always do. So I went shopping w\my mom like 2 days after X-mas. Blvd was crowded, but it always is. I got a cute sweater from AE, a black zip up from Rainbow cuz I needed a new one, earrings from Rainbow, & then I went 2 Deb & got a cute short jean skirt, a white & green low cut shirt that ties in the back, it's silky w\flowers, (wearing that tonight,) a couple thongs (even though I hate em, lol,) a necklace, & a cute black halter top. I am definitely doneeee shopping 4 winter stuff, I had enough 2 begin w\@ the beginning of the year, & so I think it's time 2 stop. Lol. I'll just buy skirts & stuff from now on when I go out shopping cuz I can always use more 4 the spring\summer. I have tooo many clothes, but I cut down on the amount of shopping I do & am just wearing everything I have. Lol. I went 2 Red Lobster 2 eat w\my mom the other day... faced my fear. Spoiled as usual. But actually not as bad as last year & previous years. Probably cuz of costs of other things coming up. & I got everyone awesome gifts, & I still have 2 exchange w\Ash & Sill. I spent a lot on my mom & she loved everything. Dee got me a shot class from Oswego. :o) Yay. It's sweet. We had Como food on X-mas & X-mas Eve.... & I saw my Katie Bear X-mas Eve, went 2 church... watched a lot of movies on X-mas, people came over. It was fun, kinda glad it's over though. Sad & happy @ the same time as weird as it sounds. Miller's in Cali right now. But she'll be back next week b-4 Florida. I'm excited 2 give her her goodbye gifts but I realllly don't want her 2 leave. :o( I was like 45 min. late 4 work today. Haha. I never do that, & they weren't busy so it was ok. I was supposed work 6-3 but it ended up being like 6:45-3:00. Lol. Overslept or the alarm didn't go off or something & thank God my mom still noticed I was home. Went 2 the movies last week w\Dee, & Joey Mackmin!!!! Good times. I love Joey. We have our heart 2 hearts every now & then. Haha. Mackmin rocks. We're going 2 see Darkness, too. & today after work Dee came over & we had a big turkey dinner & then my mom took me, her, & Difranco 2 see Meet the Fockers! It was realllly funny. I loved it. I saw Nick J, & Jeff, & a few other people I knew. I saw Megan's brother Matt too, & we said hi. I love my Dee so much. :oP Mari Hall is engaged!!! I'm real excited!!! She's not getting married 4 like 2 years but he proposed on X-mas & she has a beautiful diamond solitaire!! Ahhh! I'm excited 4 her. :o) Hopin' 2 feel the same stuff soon. :o) Hehe. So I normally don't talk openly about certain things in here but I am gonna this one time. A lot of people won't know what I'm talking about, but it only matters 2 a few people anyway. First of all, it's real exciting & kewl that people have no lives & talk about "my life" on a daily basis... glad u have nothing better 2 do. When I read that people do that I wasn't surprised.... people r lame. Also, whoever keeps posting the comments in the "other" journal... stop. I love my friends ur all real awesome & wonderful 2 "us both" but doing that just causes more drama 4 me & it's dumb. Unless u r certain about something, don't say anything. It's not worth it & I know what it feels like 2 have rumors go around & have untrue things spread & said so don't listen 2 everything u hear.... believe me, that's why they r called rumors, & that's why people say "I heard." I'm not even sure how this jazz started or where people r hearing things but whatever. Anonymous people, please stop. Stay out of her journal please... we don't like her so there's no need 2 read it. But I think I have a right 2 talk about whoever I want, especially when they attempted 2 destroy my life, freedom of speech is right!! I can exercise that when u cause harm when it's none of ur business. But anyway, it's all good. There was a mouse in the little ceiling things @ work the other day. Haha. It's not funny but @ the same time it is. We're really clean there & stuff, but I guess that shit happens. Me & Dee got our pics back from the X-mas party & stuff & I am gonna scan em ASAP. I can't believe it's the week of X-mas already... it doesn't feel like it @ all. I was talking about it today w\Steph @ work, & it came so quick. It always comes & goes. All that wrapping & shopping 4 nothing. Lol. It goes by so fast. But that's not what X-mas is really about anyway. This X-mas will be better than last, but I just kinda want the holidays 2 come & go. Looking forward 2 New Year's Eve though... a couple parties & stuff. I am all done shopping & I just finished wrapping today. :o) I hateeee wrapping. I am shitty @ it, too. I got 2 new purses... an awesome Playboy purse, & an XOXO purse that's turquoise & gold. It's awesome. & I got a playboy wallet & playboy earrings. Ahhh. Gotta love the bunny. & my mom bought me a Baby Phat purse 4 X-mas. :o) Reminds me of Ricco, she loves Baby Phat. Lol. My mom & I rented the Stepford Wives the other day.... mad weird movie!!! I advise people 2 see it, it's so perfect & fake that it makes me laugh. Lol. I loveeeeee being off of school because I LOVE not having 2 do homework!! Even if I get bored I think it's so much better than having stress & deadlines, & having 2 do a whole bunch of work when you're tire.d I haven't done too much yet.... a few fun things, but I love sleeping whenever I feel like it. That could also be because I'm a depressed person these days. But even so, when something bad happens or something that upsets me I feel like something good always follows 2 reassure me. That helps a lot. By the way, I love you. :o) But I'm finding out that people change. How could u do everything 4 a person when they have barely anyone else there 4 them & then just bam not really want them in your life anymore?? Welcome a person into your home, "hide" them, comfort them, basically be there every second & then just care about how u look & not want anything 2 do w\them? I don't know... I could never do that, & I'm really disappointed in these people. Maybe they haven't totally blocked this person out of their lives, but it's pretty close. Whatever... most people don't know what I am talking about. So the Tim Horton's X-mas party was Sunday @ the Como. Rolled up w\the other 3 hos. Haha. Amanda, Sarah, & Dee. (Ricco, Killer Miller, D-Unit, & Squad.) Haha. We all looked so cute. My boots & skirt were a big hit especially going 2 visit Sean after the party @ work. Haha. Took lot's of pics... can't wait 2 get em. Nick & Mike were killing me w\their hotness in the tiesss. (My weakness!! Mens dress clothes!) Dee & Sarah were dancing & singing like whoa.... I only danced 2 like 1 or 2 songs. Cha Cha Slide, Ricco!!! Lol. Sarah is an awesome dancer & so funny cuz she never stops dancing & like doesn't care what people think of her cuz she dances anywhere, anytime. I love it. It was nice 2 see some people from the other stores, too. Except one Tim Horton's we all hate.. hmm, I wonder which one! Haha, Kaitlin. We're gonna kick all their snotty asses. A few of us girls chipped in & bought Leon his wife & Bob & Kathy (manager & owners,) dinner certificates 4 Red Lobster. After the party me & Ricco came back 2 my house & drank. Mmm, Vodka. It was definitely good times. :o) Dee was gonna come but her & Miller ended up staying later & singing (go figure, lol,) & then they went out 2 get coffee & stuff. Ricco's leaving me 4 like 10 days & Miller is going 2 California b-4 she goes 2 Florida. :o( But she'll be back so I can give her her goodbye gifts. I only work like 3 days this week... I only worked 2 but I am working like a 9 hour shift Sunday 4 Sarah cuz she'll be in Cali. So I'll have an extra day. I could use the $ so it's kewl. (4 Jazzers | Jazz Me Up) **FIRST SEMESTER IS OVER!!!!! HAD A PERFECT JURY!** :o)))))) [15 Dec 2004|02:07pm] [ mood | happy ] [ music | Nothing... ] So last week classes end... & THIS WEEK EXAMS ENDED!! :o) Today was my last one!!!! So excited. Over a month off w\noooooooo books. No tests, no studying, no homework. My mom was like "you're gonna miss it." & I know I won't miss all the work. No way. Lol. Next semester's gonna be harder though... harder classes & stuff. Today was the theory exam... the scariest one. But I knew the stuff that was worth the most points so I think I'm ok. & I went 4 review yesterday which helped. My peformance jury was on Monday. If u don't know what that is it's 4 music majors, @ the end of the semester they have 2 perform things from the repetoire that they learned in the summer & during the Fall semester w\a private teacher, & u play in front of 3 or 4 professors. Dr. Fleming, Dr. Reinoso, sometimes Dr. Witakowski, (but he wasn't @ mine,) & then your private teacher @ the school. I was really nervous all week.... but I did soooooooooooooo well when I got in there & wasn't nervous @ all. I was a little shaky @ first but my accompanist & I sounded great together & the only thing I did a little off was make some note mistakes. But Dr. Fleming said my technique was excellent so maybe I didn't make as many as I thought. I had an etude & an arpeggio exercise prepared along w\my 2 solos, (movement from the Poulenc, & a movement from a Bach Sonata,) & We didn't even get 2 the other stuff... Marlene stopped in the middle of my 2nd piece & then Dr. Reinoso (who's very tough, awesome musician, went 2 Eastman & all these great schools & she kicks asssss on clarinet,) but she was just like "wow that was amazing" & was impressed & then said "u have 3 very disappointed people here, we will miss u in this program, but if u keep up w\lessons the way u r u will still have many opportunities 2 play." Which is true because I have flute trio next semester (only 3 of us, Courtney will be too busy cuz she's graduating & has 2 get ready 4 grad school,) so it'll be me, Kristen, & Jen. But we played a few gigs this semester, one last Sunday... & I really do have opporunities, I've been playing on it. & I promised them I would keep up on it. & if I wanna go back 2 it of course I will, cuz right now I am getting gen eds outta the way. So I am not wasting my talent, I definitely play a lot. I love Kristen & Jen & flute trio will be awesome again. I guess Kristen bought me something 4 X-mas. I thought that was so sweet. I guess I'll get it late. Lol. I got her & Jen X-mas chapsticks & stuff. :o) Jen's like "I still gotta shop 4 u!" Lol. So I was verrrry pleased w\my jury. Dr. Reinoso gave me 4s which is "exceeds standards" & wrote how I have a very wonderful mature sounding tone & just really good stuff & Fleming talked about my technique & they said how I've improved since my audition... it went so great. I was proud. So me, Miller, & Ricco went 2 the Galleria last week. Good times. These boys came up 2 me & said "I like ur star." Cuz I had a star on my jeans (the ass pockets,) & they keep following us & then these guys in the store were flirting w\Sarah. Haha. Wow. But I got some X-mas stuff on my ma's credit card. :o) A shirt from Forever 21, a shirt from Weather Vane, underwear, earrings... we had fun. :o) Then I went out shopping w\my ma the other day & got this cute camouflage zip up (yay, Army :o) lol, from Deb, sweat pants 2 go, & white pants like Ricco's!! AHHH! Finally found em. They r so cute. They r like spandexy (lol) & tight... I love it. Can't wear em in the winter though. My ma got me a lot... not as much as usual cuz I told her not 2 but I also got that sports jacket, a Bon Jovi CD... stuff I don't know about yet... I got my mom a lotttt though. Expensive jewelry & such. She deserves it though. :o) I am talking 2 Ash now.. I haven't talked 2 her in like weeks!! I miss her & can't wait 2 see her & exchange gifts w\her & Sill. :o) I miss them. The corporates from the Tim Horton's corp came in last week & we got a really good score & he complimented us & stuff. (4 Jazzers | Jazz Me Up) **This semester is overrrrrrrrrrrrr, no more classes!!** :o) [09 Dec 2004|12:07am] [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | Nothing. ] Wow, this semester flew by. I seriously feel like it just started sometimes. I'm sooooo glad 2 have over a month off though. I still have a couple more exams, performance juries... but all my classes r officially over. The theory exam is cumulative & ahh, I don't remember stuff. :o( I am gonna go 2 the review session Tuesday w\Holly & Ash. Dr. Reinoso was an excellent theory teacher though. So I'm not a music major anymore. But I'm still gonna be in flute trio, flute quartet, band... all that jazz. I will always keep up on lessons & playing, I love it. & I have improved a lot already just this first semester. Our Chamber Ensemble Concert was tonight. Flute quartet sounded awesome. :o) Few mistakes here & there, but nothing major. We sound good together. We blend well. Then we did the trio thing where Courtney & I take turns on some movements. Sunday we r all playing @ the nursing home, too. It should be good. I am gonna miss Courtney cuz she won't be in band next semester. I really like her. She's graduating w\a bachelors in Psychology next semester, so she really won't have time 2 fit band in. I hope she can still play in quartet, but if not, it'll just be us 3. I hope Katie comes back 2 band!! I keep telling her 2. Britt came 2 see me tonight! I thought that was so nice of her. She said she was really impressed w\our playing. :o) Life hasn't been too bad. Can't complain. The normal stresses, school, all that, & some other stuff definitely, but stuff is always getting better and never worse and that's a positive. I just hope it stays that way!!! Last weekend was wild... lol. Crazy shit. But fun. Ya gotta have fun, especially when you're young, cuz u won't be young 4-ever. Lol. Since that's my name & all. Lol. This week has been stresssssss. End of the semester, & all the papers r piling on, & exams. Theory exam is gonna KILLLL me. I'm so scared of it. See how music adds stress 2 my life? It does in some ways. It's December already. Crazy shit. A muchhhhhh better year than last I might add. :o) But anyway, yea, only a few more days of classes!!!! Then CEP week, then OVER A MONTH OFF OF NO HOMEWORK OR PAPERS OR TESTS! :o) I'll be working @ Timmy's more, taking care of other stuff, seeing people from college... it'll be a nice break. Miller's leaving Jan. 10th 4 Disney. :o( Definitely gonna have a hard time w\that one. The girl is my life, no joke. It's gonna suck. Even though we'll keep in touch it won't be the same, she won't be here 2 make me laugh constantly. :o( Dee was home last weekend. She's wonderful. Friday, we left @ 6 am & went Xmas shopping!!!!! (2 Jazzers | Jazz Me Up) **Happy Thanksgiving!!** [25 Nov 2004|07:05pm] [ mood | mellow ] [ music | Nothing. ] Happy Thanksgiving 2 all!! :o) I can honestly say I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. :o) 10003282828282887320544 times better than last year!!!! So hopefully each holiday each year will get better & better... & somehow, I have a feeling it will. :oP So, Dee & I went 2 church together. I was so happy that I got 2 see her on Thanksgiving. It was great. We looked cute 4 church, too. Lol. & Katie came over 4 Thanksgiving dinner. I love that my best friend comes over 4 dinner on holidays & stuff. It's great. We had italian though, lasagna & stuff. No turkey. Weird, I know. Lol. But my mom & I wanted that instead. It was good, & Katie & I watched Liar, Liar, haha. Great movie. & we talked, & overall, I had a great day. Knew that everyone close 2 me was w\friends & family & people we all love & care about... & I was glad. I took Dee 2 see my mom @ work. Lol. & Ash frickin picked me up! LOL! I was like wow ur skinny 2 be lifting me. Haha. It was good 2 see Kim, too. We always have interesting news & things 2 discuss. Lol. Me, her, Dee, & Amanda r going department store X-mas shopping @ like 6 am tomorrow. Haha. We're nuts. Me & Dee r, & I think the 2 of them r coming, but I'm not positive. Other stuff in my life is also fun... & it's ok 2 have fun. :o) Nothing wrong w\it. Especially if it gets u through hard times. As long as it's not drugs or substances that can harm ur body. Lol. (Jazz Me Up) **Life never stops being interesting** [18 Nov 2004|03:04pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | Kevin's band CD in my head ] This week has been ok. The weekend was really fun. Some real interesting stuff happened... I kinda surprised myself. It was good times though. :o) Really good times. Something I needed... I went out more last weekend than I have in a while, too. So it was fun. & wild. Lol. ;o) Yesterday was special. :o) Even though it's really not anymore, it still is... cuz love is just like that.. :o) So, Dee's coming home from Oswego Tuesday night!!! & Kim's coming home then, too from Utica! I'm sooooooo excited. Kim & I have been talking so much lately & we made some fun plans & stuff. & of course I miss Dee a whole lot. The plan is 4 me, her, Miller, & Rico 2 go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Hit up the busy department stores. Lol. It'll be great seeing her. & me & Kim r going 2 NFHS next week 2 visit @ some point. :o) Flute stuff has been going great. Katie's coming back in band next semester!! :o) She's kewl. She went 2 NW & she couldn't be in band this semester cuz of her schedule, but she's coming back next semester. She is a sophmore or junior, I think. But it sux cuz he doesn't do seating over again until fall, so she has 2 sit @ the end. Unless he moves her up cuz he knows how she plays. If we sat next 2 each other we'd be in trouble 4 talking too much. Lol. So I got some upcoming gigs. The flute quartet is playing @ the Chamber Ensemble concert, & me & Chris R (mr. jazz!!) r doing a jazz duet 4 X-mas. It's gonna be awesome! I'm so excited. :o) He wrote out some kewl stuff. & the flute trio is playing, too. We're trading off some parts. & then back 2 the flute quartet... we have some gigs coming up 4 X-mas. We're playing @ my moms work, & I think @ some of the malls. Dr. Reinoso said she still wants me 2 be in all that stuff next semester cuz Courtney isn't a music major & she's still in it & that they really want me in it & stuff. It's so great cuz I'm getting so many chances 2 play. Jen doesn't wanna play picc next semester & either does Kristen so Dr. Fleming & I talked & he asked me but I don't have any high school piccolo ensemble experience. Just marching & that's been years but like, u have 2 have experience w\a high school ensemble or whatever. I think he still wants me 2 do it, but I don't know. It has 2 be one of the 3 of us cuz Courtney isn't gonna be in band next semester. :o( We'll miss her, but I'm sure she'll still be in our groups. She's graduating & she'll be too busy. But I don't know who's doing it. I practiced w\my accompanist 4 my jury & he said I sound great & I'm ready. :o) We just have a few little things 2 fix & he's coming 2 my lesson. It's kewl too cuz I'll still be talking lessons all year w\Marlene & Dave & they think that's great so I'll be getting more chances 2 play cuz of studying w\the best. So Courtney won't be there next semester so I'll be a first on all the parts instead of just a few. I'm just glad how I got so many chances 2 play this semester, & next semester I'm sure w\our gigs & stuff, too. See, flute players do get gigs! Lol. :o) I am constantly improving, too. So I went shopping w\my mom last weekend & she bought me a sports jacket from Express. I love it. I wore it 2 my concert last night, it was like $130 & it's good quality, but we got it on sale. It was still a lot though. & I got a button down w\A TIE!!! :o) Sweet! 4 mine & Chris' jazz duet. Gotta have a tie 4 jazz. Haha. & I got a cute lime green tank w\sparkles 2 go under the jacket. All part of X-mas gifts. Cute stuff. Omg, Sarah's man Chris D was in the paper the other day w\the limo @ Club 427 cuz they have this deal w\Sarah's dads business 2 drive drunk drivers. It was so funny. I was like "OMG, CHRIS!" Lol. WHAT A BALLER!! Lol, Sarah. ;o) Not sure what's up this weekend. I work Sunday. Might see Sarah, & hopefully Ash soon. I gotta see what's up. Anna & Danielle came 2 Timmy's the other night 2 visit. :o) I see Anna in church & we talk all the time. I love her. She's close w\Sarah, too. I went 2 lunch w\Kevin G (my favorite bass player, haha, but Lance is too, ;o) Ash, & Chris R today. Holly didn't come 2 school! :o( Damn her. Lol. We had so much fun though. I just finished a paper & I'm gonna go work on some more stuff. So, I'll write more soon.
